Exhibitors and Exhibiting

Those of us who know the power of volunteerism know that there really is no measure to their value. Volunteers are the hearts and hands that help us to fulfill our mission and meet our goals. The everyday reality for the nonprofit today is one of great need and of little time. This often results in spreading ourselves very thin; so thin that we often do not have the time to find the very volunteers we so desperately need. This is where People Helping People Fest (PHP) can make a difference.

For Susan Kopicki a member of the Child-pace board of directors, a center-based child-care program to benefit school-age children from moderate or low-income families, PHP was “.… the single most exciting, invigorating, supportive event that Childs-pace has ever attended.” One of the volunteers her group recruited became a fellow board member. He gave invaluable assistance in fundraising for the group as well as donating a weekend corporate retreat training for staff and board members. Jamie Grant, Outreach Coordinator for Big Brother and Sisters, thought that PHP …”was a wonderful recruitment opportunity for their group, as it showcased so many great on Profit organizations which attracted a great turnout with some wonderful potential volunteers for their group”.

We invite you to be a part of this great event , PHP 2010 and gather support for your cause . Last year we gathered over 7,000 hours of volunteer service hours, which translates to a monetary value of nearly $18,000. PHP 2010 takes place on Sunday September 19, 2010, from 9:00 am to 1:30 pm at 695 W. 19th Street (at the corner of Pomona, across from the DMV).
